中文摘要 本研究旨在從情緒距離的觀點來探討國小校長營造社區關係。情緒距離觀點旨在觀察教育人員與家長互動中,雙方可能呈現親近或疏遠的情緒距離。本研究訪談八位國小校長,從校長觀點覺知學校與社區互動的經驗中,分析各種情緒距離層面的實務情形。研究發現主要有六點:一、校長知覺家長的多元社會文化背景,若彼此經常互動,較易產生親近的社會文化距離,有利社區關係之經營;二、校長知覺現今家長權力升高,專業距離不似以往來得疏離,卻可能有利社區關係的營造;三、校長覺察家長和教育人員間的教育理念或想法較相近,較容易拉近彼此的道德距離,正向社區關係容易產生;四、校長若經歷家長向媒體投訴,容易擴大政治距離,可能導致惡性社區關係的形成;五、教育人員面對家長,容易展現情緒偽裝,致使擴大彼此間政治距離,卻讓社區關係處於曖昧不清;六、物理距離雖屬外顯行為且易察覺,但其他情緒距離乃社區關係之核心。
英文摘要 Based on the framework of emotional distance, the study aims to explore the emotional distance among educational practitioners and parents, which may be close or estranged. Choosing eight elementary principals as respondents, the study intends to analyze principals’ viewpoints about their perceptions of school-community relations. Research findings were as follows: 1. the socio-cultural distance would be closer if the interactions between principals and parents were quite frequent; 2. the professional distance seemed to be closer due to principals’ awareness of the rise of parents’ rights of educational participation; 3. the moral distance would be closer based on principals’ awareness of the consistency between teachers’ and parents’ educational beliefs; 4. the political distance would be enlarged if the principal experienced parents’ accusing events through social media; 5. educational practitioners facing parents were likely to wear emotional masking which would widen political distance; 6. physical distance was significantly observable while other dimensions of emotional geographies might be the center of home-school relations.
