本文介紹美國跨領域教學，藉由講述當前熱門STEM（Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics）教育，即科學、科技、工程和數學，以及STEM不同的分 支，如STEAM（Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics），即科學、科 技、工程、數學和藝術，與STREAM（Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics），也就是科學、科技、閱讀、工程、藝術和數學，介紹其目標、重心、利 弊、爭議、實施策略，以及參照現行的教學教案，期能對臺灣教學現場提供一些借鏡， 培養學生以專業教育知識貫通，迎接AI時代的來臨。

| 英文摘要 |
This article introduces the trend of interdisciplinary teaching and learning in America via discussing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics), and STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics). Through introducing the objectives, focus, pros and cons, controversy, strategic planning, related teaching plans, it might contribute to the fi eld of teaching and learning in Taiwan. We hope to cultivate students with the outcome of professionality and consilience in order to prepare the age of AI.
