Utilizing related literature from several international research projects, investigations, forums, and meetings, this paper analyzed the reasons and purposes, features of studies, and reflections of the trends of international cooperation in educational leadership study. These projects include International Successful School Principals Project: Multi-Perspective Research on School Principals (ISSPP), Leadership for Learning: the Carpe Vitam Project (LfL), World School Leadership Study: Research and Monitoring of School Leaders’ Profession (WSLS), Teaching and Learning International Survey (TALIS), Asia Leadership Roundtable (ALR), and International Congress for School Effectiveness and Improvement (ICSEI).
