中文摘要 在教育领域,策略的含义是指达成目标的重要手段,亦是具体行动的指导方针。近年来,台湾地区在少子化、教育市场化及各种教育改革的共同作用下,学校越来越把学生当成服务对象,甚至出现了“讨好学生”的现象。通过进入台湾G小学资优班进行为期4个月的参与式观察和生命史访谈,发现教师存在四大策略:第一,精进学业的发展策略;第二,规避冲突的“自保”策略;第三,“熬赢同事”的“等待”策略;第四,把学生和家长当作顾客的“小心应对”策略。上述策略乃是基于生存的动机,这与教师难以卸下的家庭压力、“打不得骂不得”的政治正确、少子化趋势下的教师行业危机,以及教师考核评鉴、家长权利的兴起等因素息息相关,而这些也正是教师当下生存的“社会母子盒”系统之体现。
英文摘要 In the field of education, the meaning of strategy refers to the important means of achieving goals, and is also the guiding principle for specific actions. In recent years, Taiwan’s education, has led to the increasing use of students as objects of service and even the emergence of certain “pleasant students”, due to the combined effects of minority births, education marketization, and various educational reforms. Through four months of participatory observation and life history interviews in the gifted classes of G Primary School in Taiwan, we find that there are four strategies for teachers: Firstly, the development strategy of progressive learning; Secondly, the strategy of “self-protection” to avoid conflicts; Thirdly, the “waiting” strategy of “winning colleagues”; Fourthly, regarding students and parents as customers. These strategies are based on the motivation for survival. There are five factors that affect teachers' strategy choices. The first one is that the teachers are difficult to burden their families. The second reason is that the “political correctness” of the “can't be beaten”. Thirdly, the crisis of teacher industry is under the trend of declining birthrate. Fourthly, t the evaluation and assessment on teachers is also an important reason. Fifthly, the rise of parental rights is the last factor. All of these factors make the “Social Chinese Boxes” systems in which teachers live.
