中文摘要 本文是一個廣泛個案研究的部分研究成果,描繪一位國小校長領導學校行政人員與教師,將學校發展的努力聚焦在提升「師生教與學」的學習經驗。經由文獻探討校長學習領導以及與校長學習有關的理念與研究,本文針對校長在領導作為改變的階段,進行兩次個別訪談,並以訪談資料進行主題分析。研究結果發現,個案國小校長帶領學校行政人員與教師將學校發展的努力聚焦在「師生教與學」的經驗,並非一個直線性、純由校長主導、一次到位、少數人決定的推動進行方式,而是校長與個別教師及教師團隊、行政團隊來來回回、持續調整、逐步落實的歷程,像是「跳恰恰」的經驗。雖然努力的大方向是以提升師生教與學品質為願景核心,但校長學習(學會)掌握改變速度的快與慢、學習(學會)同時兼重集體與個體,以及學習(學會)連結並運用資源,同時照顧教師與學生。
英文摘要 This paper is part of the findings of a comprehensive case study. It describes the learning experience of an elementary school principal dancing cha-cha with administrators and teachers when leading teaching and learning in the focused school. After reviewing the related literature on principal leadership for learning and principal learning in school, this paper conducted two individual interviews with the principal during the stage of leadership change. The interview data were used to do data analysis. The findings show that the learning experience of leading change in teaching and learning is not a linear, principal-directed, led-by-minority and one-try effort, but a back-and-forth process. The principal works with individual teachers and teams of teachers and adjusts continuously during the implementing process, like dancing cha-cha with teachers. Even though the vision and course of action of the leadership is to enhance the quality of teaching and learning, the principal learns to master the speed of change, the balance of individual and collective opinions, and the balance of the needs and interests of teachers and students.
