英文摘要 The definition of the goal of exercising disciplinary power in education helps to clarify the nature and methods of disciplinary power. The aim of exercising disciplinary power in education is to cultivate rule consciousness. Rule consciousness can be divided into three levels: the primary meaning is the recognition of abiding by rules, the secondary meaning is the thinking of rules under the rule of law, and the ultimate meaning is to take the rule of law as the reason for action. Moreover, there are reasons for taking the cultivation of rule consciousness as the goal of exercising disciplinary power in education. Firstly, the empirical data of judicial practice support it; secondly, it is imperative to prevent the purposefulness of disciplinary means; thirdly, human beings are normative animals. Therefore, the exercise of disciplinary power in education should adhere to four principles: education as the main part, discipline as the supplement; paying attention to the psychological characteristics of students at different stages; the combination of family, school and society; paying attention to the reasonable limits of the exercise of disciplinary power. By defining the goal of exercising disciplinary power in education, we can connect education with society. By exercising disciplinary power in education, we can cultivate students' consciousness of the rule of law, and cultivate qualified citizens who abide by the law and regard it as the evaluation standard for society.
