中文摘要 本文以人獸混種意象於數位肖像藝術為創作範疇,基於FTC(Form 形式、Theme主題、Context 脈絡)之視覺藝術模式,用以建立數位人獸肖像藝術的創作模式,為目前多傾向影像軟體在人獸外貌的技術層面,提供了相關人獸肖像創作研究的參考準則。本研究的文獻探討歸納出三個相關面向:(1)寫實肖像與科技擬像之基礎理論;(2)動物形體之象徵語彙與意義;(3)人獸混種形象之異質情愫。透過人獸肖像的科技擬像作品,討論多重容貌於不同時空的身分概念,並傳達借物寓意與象徵意涵之視覺符碼,啟發觀眾思考其視覺文本之科技擬仿的視覺隱喻、人獸肖像的身分形塑、基因科技的生命關切之間的關聯性。最後,本文提出結合「科技擬像」、「動物象徵」與「人獸混種」的數位肖像創作之研究價值,以及後續研究建議。
英文摘要 The aim of this study was to establish a model of digital portrait for human-animal hybrid based on the FTC model while applying "paintings of amusement" as a theme in the creative process. Due to the use of computer software in the technical aspect of human-animal appearances, this model provides reference criteria for the study of human-animal portraits. The relevant aspects that emerged from the literature review include (1) the basic theory of realistic portrayal and technological simulacrum; (2) symbolic vocabulary and meaning of animal form; (3) heterogeneity of human-animal hybrid images. Through the appropriation of visual element of human-animal technological simulacrum, the identity concepts of the multiple faces in different time and space were discussed. Moreover, it is expected that the visual codes and symbolic meanings conveyed in the works could inspire the audiences to contemplate upon visual texts from multiple perspectives regarding the correlation among visual metaphor of technological simulations, human-animal portrait of identity shapes, and life concerns of genetic technologies. This research was designed to explore the value and contribution of combining "technological simulacrum", "animal symbolism", and "human-animal hybrid" in digital portraits, as well as to raise suggestions for future researches.
