中文摘要 本研究旨在了解大學生對於課堂不適切行為的知覺,包括比較不同類型課堂不適切行為對於大學生課堂學習的影響程度,以及大學生知覺課堂不適切行為的發生頻率。研究對象為一所大學的1068位大學生,包含442位男大生、626位女大生。本研究將課堂不適切行為分成五類,包括漠視紀律、輕蔑不敬、缺乏參與、散漫消極及飲食行為。研究結果發現,不同類型的課堂不適切行為對大學生課堂學習的影響程度不同,影響程度依序為漠視紀律、輕蔑不敬、缺乏參與、散漫消極、飲食行為;不同類型的課堂不適切行為的發生頻率不同,頻率由高而低依序為飲食行為、缺乏參與、散漫消極、漠視紀律、輕蔑不敬;此外,在不同背景變項的課堂中,學生知覺課堂不適切行為的發生頻率也有差異,包含男教師的課堂、年長教師的課堂及班級人數51人以上的課堂,都相對來得高。
英文摘要 The purpose of this study was to investigate university students’ perception of classroom incivilities and the effect of classroom incivilities on their learning. The sample included 1068 university students from a university in eastern Taiwan, classroom incivilities consists of five categories: flouting classroom rules, showing arrogant behaviors, not participating in class, being passive and unfocused, and eating and drinking in class. The results indicate that scores for students’ perceptions of uncivil behaviors vary in frequency. They are, from the most to the least, eating and drinking in class, not participating in class, flouting classroom rules, being passive and unfocused, and showing arrogant behaviors. The means of students’ perceptions of these behaviors which had negative impacts on students’ learning are, from the highest to the lowest, flouting classroom rules, showing arrogant behaviors, not participating in class, being passive and unfocused, and eating and drinking in class. Furthermore, scores for students’ perceptions of uncivil behaviors occurred in the classroom also vary among the types of classes. Scores for students’ perceptions of uncivil behavior are higher in the male teacher classes, in the older teacher classes, and in the larger classes, respectively.
