中文摘要 近年來,大量陸生赴臺研修,其在臺期間各方面的適應議題理應得到相應的關注。本研究乃是以人文地理學和環境心理學中的「地方感」概念引入研究領域,研究對象乃是取自2019 年秋季臺灣中部某大學的大陸交換生,並以量化和質性研究結合的混合研究取徑,進行為期四個月的資料蒐集,以探討其對在臺交換學校(臺校)的地方感。研究結果發現,陸生對臺校的地方感上,在環境認同、環境依附、總體印象上都與對大陸就讀之原校的地方感有所不同,尤以環境依附上的差異最大,陸生對臺校的歸屬感和在臺校感受到的情感支持較少。此外,陸生對臺校的地方感影響其情感、學習、人際交往、和課餘活動四個方面。最後,本研究建議健全「學伴制」與「導師制」、在校級活動上提供更多參與機會、舉辦校內的各類課餘活動、和鼓勵參加社區的活動、在假日給予陸生關懷等,以加深陸生對臺校的地方感。
英文摘要 Recently, exchange students of Mainland China in Taiwan have been increased to a great extent and thus derive more concern for their adjustment issues. This study was carried out by adopting “sense of place”, which originated from Human Geography and Environmental Psychology. The subjects were consisted of the Mainland exchange students in the autumn of 2019 in a university in central Taiwan. With an approach of mixed design that combined quantitative and qualitative methodologies, the study collected data over four months so as to explore their sense of place in the hosting school in Taiwan. It was found that key differences for the subjects between the host in Taiwan and their original schools in Mainland China indwell the three aspects, place identity, place attachment, and overall impression respectively, and place attachment significantly outnumbered. They acquired less sense of belonging and support from the host university than they expected. Furthermore, “sense of place” had quite an impact on the subjects’ feelings, learning, interpersonal communication, and extracurricular activities. Finally, some suggestions were provided as follows: (a) optimizing the mechanism of advisors and study partners; (b) offering more chances of school-wise activities; (c) hosting various cultural activities on campus; (d) encouraging more off-campus participation; and (e) caring the Mainland exchange students, especially on holidays.
