The purpose of this study is to explore the use of online learning and reflective writing on the study of sexuality education for college students and their corresponding learning experience and feelings. A total of 101 students from one of the universities of Science and Technology in Taiwan were selected as the research subjects by convenience sampling. The sexuality education videos provided by the National Health Institute were used for online learning. Each participant completed a reflective writing after the online learning. Thematic analysis was used to examine the content and meaning of the reflective writing. Most of the students showed positive attitude toward sexuality education using online learning and reflective writing methods and thought that it was very helpful to the establishment of intimate relationship. Moreover, they expressed that online learning was a very suitable arrangement because they could freely choose videos which were interesting to them, maintain privacy, follow their own time schedules, and at the same time overcome the restrictions of the pandemic of COVID-19. Regarding the students’ learning experience and feelings, five main themes emerge in this paper: the importance of safe sex, the need of intimacy, the necessity to learn love, sex equality and mutual respect, and the recognition and inclusiveness of gender diversity. Online learning supplemented by reflective writing is indeed helpful to college student’s learning experience and feelings in sexuality education. It is recommended that online learning videos need to be updated in a timely manner and matched with the latest current affairs to meet the thinking of young people.
