中文摘要 1949—2019年,中国学界对外国古代教育思想的研究,比较欠缺,最近20年稍有起色;对卢梭和赫尔巴特等外国近代教育家的思想,学界关注较多,产生了一些初步的研究成果;相比较而言,国内学界对20世纪初以来的外国现代教育思想的研究,成果较为丰实,其中对杜威教育思想的研究取得了令人瞩目的成绩。21世纪初,国内对大学理念的研究,忽然勃兴,并取得可喜的成果。概而言之,近七十年的外国教育思想专题研究,可分为前三十年和后四十年两个阶段。前三十年,研究的面较窄,但有理论深度;后四十年,研究的疆界大大拓展,成果数量较丰富,但质量上有待提升。近七十年的外国教育思想史研究体现了“共有历史”观,促进了教育人性化和教育理性化思潮在中国的发展。在将来,我们应在研究专题拓展、研究方法创新和史料意识加强等方面,推陈出新。
英文摘要 The research on ancient educational thoughts in foreign countries is deficient in the past 70 years, but the relative scholarship has increased in Recent 20 years. The existing studies have paid much attention to the ideas of eminent educators such as Jean-Jacques Rousseau and Johann Friedrich Herbart in the early modern era which produced some preliminary results but not good enough. Comparatively, the domestic academic research has achieved good performance in the study of late modern educational thoughts, especially in the study of John Dewey. The research on academic freedom and the conservative ideas of universities has got fruitful results since the beginning of the 21st century. In brief, the monographic studies on educational ideas in foreign countries have included two stages: from 1949 to 1978 and from 1979 to 2019. In early 30 years, although the range of study were relatively narrow, many research has shown theoretical significance. In the last 40 years, the boundaries of research were greatly expanded and the results more abundant, but the research quality and depth need to be improved. In short, the Chinese studies on the history of foreign educational ideas represent the view of a shared history, and promotes the development of humanism and rationalization in Chinese education. In the future, we should make innovations in the research topics, methods and historical data.
