中文摘要 近年来,我国高校大力引进海外人才。国家和高校都制定了待遇丰厚的海外人才引进政策。本文利用我国28所公立高校的专任教师2744份调查数据,采用OLS回归、负二项回归和Heckman两步法等方法,实证研究了海外学历对高校教师学术职业聘任与发展的影响。结果发现,海外学历在教师学术职业中的影响具有“两面性”。一方面,海外学历的确能够帮助高校教师进入更好的院校、更高等级的学科执教;另一方面,“海归”教师在科研生产和职称晋升中,并没有表现出特别显著的优势,反而在某些方面表现出一定的劣势。这种“两面性”亦折射出目前我国人才引进政策的“两面性”。其政策效果值得我们反思。
英文摘要 On the basis of relevant theories and existing research,this paper makes use of the data of sample survey on 2,744 full-time teachers in 28 public universities in China collected by the research paper “Research on Development of Academic Profession of Teachers in Public and Private Universities” to analyze the impact of overseas education on academic profession. The result shows that overseas education has dual character in academic profession. On the one hand, overseas education enables the teachers to assume office in better colleges and universities. On the other hand, returnee teachers have not shown particularly significant advantages in research productivity and the title promotion, but have shown certain disadvantages in some aspects. This dual character also reflects the dual character of the current talent introduction policy in China which deserves our reflection.
