英文摘要 The history of mentality focuses on daily mental states of people and the “historical details” beyond the official history. It makes up for the deficiency of precious studies which only focus on key figures and major events, and helps us to explain some social phenomena more reasonably. From the perspective of the history of mentality, we can find out the difficulties and troubles of rural teachers in their teaching life of the republic of China, and analyze their hidden negative emotions which were not covered by ideals, aspirations or ideas, so that we can understand the process of rural education reform in the republic of China more comprehensively.
