心态史关注民众的日常心态，注重研究正史之外的“历史细节”，弥补了传统史学研究的不足，有助于对一些社会历史现象作出更合理的解释。民国乡村教师身处急剧变革的时代，他们是近代中国教师中的一个特殊群体。借助于心态史的视角，透视民国乡村教师在乡村学校中的实际遭遇，剖析他们在职业生活中流露出的负面情绪，可以更全面地认识民国乡村教师的社会处境，更深入地理解和把握民国乡村教育变革的复杂进程。

| 英文摘要 |
The history of mentality focuses on daily mental states of people and the “historical details” beyond the official history. It makes up for the deficiency of precious studies which only focus on key figures and major events, and helps us to explain some social phenomena more reasonably. From the perspective of the history of mentality, we can find out the difficulties and troubles of rural teachers in their teaching life of the republic of China, and analyze their hidden negative emotions which were not covered by ideals, aspirations or ideas, so that we can understand the process of rural education reform in the republic of China more comprehensively.
