篇名 探究托兒所托育品質-以高雄市為例

中文摘要 本研究目的主要為了瞭解高雄市立案托兒所托育品質現況,研究對象為高雄市一百八十六家立案托兒所。調查內容包括高雄市各行政區域托兒所的分佈,負責人、所長的學歷與年資,教保人員的薪資與工時、托兒所的註冊費、保育費與書籍量的統計,以及托兒所托育品質。
研究分析方式主要將一百八十六家立案托兒所概況資料以敘述性統計分析取得平均數、百分比、最大值與最小值。研究結果發現收托50 位以下幼童托兒所為最多,托兒所負責人與所長多擁有大學學位,教保員平均薪資約為貳萬叄仟元。托兒所行政管理、教保活動和衛生保健等三大部分,以衛生保健品質較佳,而教保活動則有較多需改善的空間。
本文提出建議,托兒所需廣設無障礙設施,以利政府的社會福利政策之推動。托兒所家長會組織在台灣尚未廣泛推廣,家長會組織可提供人力支援、專業知識或物料資源,托兒所若能增加豐沛的家長支援,將能增加托兒所更多元的教保資源。
英文摘要 The purpose of this study is for understanding the quality and condition of nursery schools in Kaohsiung City. The target population is one hundred and eighty six registered nursery schools in Kaohsiung. The investigation includes the distribution of nursery schools in each district, backgrounds of directors, salary and workloads of staff, tuitions and fees, book resources, and overall care-giving quality. The research method applied is descriptive statistic analysis. Numerical figures, including average, percentage, maximum and minimum,are reported. In general, it is reported that: 1) most nursery schools are of the size of fifty children or fewer; 2) most of the director/person-in-charge has a bachelor degree; 3) the average income of care-givers is about NT$23000. Among the three major categories (i.e.,administration, curriculum, and health-care), the quality of health-care is the best among them.
On the contrary, the quality of curriculum shows more needs and room for further improvement. In summary, it is suggested to have more disabled-friendly facilities. This is corresponding to the social welfare policy of the government. The other suggestion is about the parents’association. It is found that parents’ associations are not so common yet here in Taiwan. A good parents’ association will provide human resources, professional knowledge or material resources. If nursery schools have the supports from parents’ associations, their curriculum will be aided with better diversity in available resources.
