中文摘要 本研究的目的是探討一位布農族父親的親職經驗,以及探討使用親職敘說作為親職教育方法的可行性。研究者與這位布農族父親進行了六次會談。本研究採用親職故事敘說方式來幫助這位父親。敘說取向的目標是讓參與者調整和講述關於他生活各個故事的線索,以便他能夠更清楚地瞭解自己的情況,從而產生積極的改變。親職敘說課程的要素有:一、外部事件—「發生了甚麼事情」;二、內部情緒—「我的感受」;三、反思的意義建構—「這意味著甚麼」。本研究採詮釋現象學方法以深入瞭解家長的生活世界,其中很多事情當事人自己是不覺察的,並提供一種解釋參與者親職旅程的方法。研究發現,親職敘說對父職實踐和親子關係皆產生了積極影響。本研究參與者能夠深刻反思自己的育兒經驗,並為培養三代人之間的關係和如何養育孩子制定了清晰的藍圖。本研究對臺灣原住民的親職教育實務提出了一些建議。
英文摘要 The purpose of this study was to explore the parenting experience of a father from the Bunun people, a Taiwanese indigenous people, and to explore the feasibility of using parenting narratives as a method of parenting education. The researcher conducted six interviews with this individual. This study employed a parenting narrative approach to assist the participant with his parenting effort. The purpose of the narrative approach was to allow the participant to adapt and to narrate the stories of his life from different perspectives, which would lead to a better understanding of his situation and lead to positive change. The elements of the parenting narrative project are (1) External events – ‘what happened’, (2) Internal emotions – ‘how I felt’, and (3) Introspection leading to construction of meaning – ‘what it means’. Ahermeneutic phenomenological approach was used to gain insight into the life experience of the participant, much of which was subconscious, and to provide a way of interpreting his parenting journey. The study found that parenting narratives had a positive impact on fatherhood practices and parent-child relationships. The participant was able to reflect deeply on his parenting experience and developed a clear blueprint for nurturing relationships between the three generations and how to raise children. This study puts forward some suggestions on the practices of parenting education of Taiwan’s indigenous people.
