中文摘要 高校在地区创新驱动发展中扮演着日益重要的角色。本文以1999一 2016年我国287个地级以上城市的面板数据为基础,基于多期DID模型,实证分析了 高校扩招后新建校区的启用对城市发明专利创新的影响。回归结果表明,新建校区促 进了所在城市的发明专利创新,包括个体、企业等不同的创新主体均有可能受到影响; 新建校区的影响具有时间累积效应;本科新建校区主要影响个体和企业等创新主体, 而高职新建校区主要影响企业等创新主体;相较于同城搬迁校区和新筹建校区,异地 办学校区的促进作用更为明显;相较于直接合作,新建校区对于各主体专利创新的间 接影响更为明显;高校校区越密集,其影响效果越为明显;已有老校区对新建校区的功 能发挥存在促进作用,并且随时间发展逐步增强。
英文摘要 Universities have been playing an increasingly critical role in regional innovation-driven development. Based on the panel data of 287 cities in China from 1999 to 2016,and using the time-varying DID model, we empirically analyzed the impact of new campuses on patent innovation after the expansion of college enrollment at the city level. We found that: new campuses have promoted patent innovation in their cities, which mainly affected individuals and enterprises; the impact of new campuses intensified over time; new campuses of 4-year universities mainly affected individuals, enterprises, and other innovative subjects, while new campuses of tertiary vocational colleges mainly affected enterprises and other innovative subjects; compared with relocating campuses in the same city or new campuses of newly established universities,effects of relocating campuses in different cities were more salient; The indirect impact of new campuses was more obvious than their direct impact; the denser the university campuses, the greater their effect; the existing old campuses amplified the effects of new campuses, which increased over time.
