中文摘要 本研究主要在描述客語沉浸教學實施的理論背景、實施現況及成效。臺灣多數的客語沉浸教學為早期部份沉浸式教學,主要在幼兒園開始推行,50%-100%的時間以客語做為主要教學及溝通語言,客語並不獨立成語言學習科目,而是將客語做為生活溝通及教學媒介語,用來教授其他課程內容。客語沉浸教學之實施有四項準則:(1)客語為主要教學及溝通媒介;(2)主題統整式課程及教學;(3)持續性師資增能培訓;(4)學校帶動家庭及社區說客語風氣;(5)持續編寫研發客語沉浸教材。客語沉浸教學之成效包括:(1)提升了幼兒客語聽說能力且對非客語學習無負向影響;(2)客語沉浸式教學獲得幼兒的喜愛,並能提高幼兒客語的使用頻率;(3)客語沉浸教學對幼兒的文化意識及認同產生正向影響。未來客語沉浸教學主要的挑戰包括:(1)召募及培訓客語沉浸教師;(2)創造學校中更多客語使用情境;(3)連結家庭及社區力量;(4)系統政策的持續推行。
英文摘要 This research mainly describes the theoretical background, current situation and effect of Hakka immersion teaching in preschools. Most of the Hakka immersion teaching in Taiwan is implemented at the preschool stage. Hakka language (HL) is used as the main teaching and communication language for 50%-100% of the time. Hakka is not an independent language learning subject, but Hakka is used as a communication medium of instruction, used to teach other subject content. There are four principles for the implementation of Hakka immersion teaching: (1) HL as the main teaching and communication medium; (2) Thematic integrated curriculum and teaching; (3) Continuous teacher training; (4) The school drives families and Community to promote HL use; (5) Continue to develop and develop Hakka immersion teaching materials. The effects of Hakka immersion teaching include: (1) It improves children's HL listening and speaking ability without negative influence on non-HL learning; (2) Hakka immersive teaching is loved by children and can improve frequency of children’s HL use ; (3) Hakka immersion teaching has a positive impact on children’s cultural awareness and identity. The main challenges of Hakka immersion teaching in the future include: (1) recruiting and training Hakka immersion teachers; (2) creating more Hakka use situations in schools; (3) connecting family and community strength; (4) continue to implement systematic policy.
