中文摘要 针对我国欠发达地区教育质量相对落后的现状,对一种创新型的网络教育模式——“双师教学”能否改善欠发达地区教学质量进行了深入的探讨。基于双师教学项目2013—2016年的实地调研数据,借鉴“双重差分模型”的计量方法进行分析。结果发现,双师教学项目对欠发达地区的学生成绩有着显著的积极影响,可以有效提高欠发达地区,尤其是农村地区的教育质量;项目提升了欠发达地区的教师发展质量和师资队伍教学水平;项目的积极影响呈现出随实施时间延长而不断增强的趋势,说明其能够对教育质量提高发挥长效作用。实证分析的结果表明,这种低成本、高效率的互联网创新型双师教学模式可以作为我国教育均衡发展的一项有力举措,对欠发达地区的教育质量提升产生长效的、积极的促进作用。
英文摘要 Focusing on the relatively backward quality of education in underdeveloped areas in China, this paper evaluates the effectiveness of an innovative program of education - the double teaching program - which uses the Internet technology to improve the teaching quality of schools in underdeveloped regions. We analyze the effect of the double teaching program using data from a unique field survey over the period of 2013 to 2016 and the difference-in-difference econometric model. We find that the double teaching program has positive effect on students' score and can improve the education quality of underdeveloped regions. The program also indirectly improves teaching skills of the teachers in underdeveloped regions. We also find that positive effects from the program would be intensified over time. Our findings suggest that the double teaching program is a cost-effective means for improving education quality and affecting the long-term economic development of underdeveloped regions.
