中文摘要 编者按:在美国宾夕法尼亚大学近年来公布的《全球智库报告》关于教育政策领域的 顶级智库排名中,美国斯坦福国际研究所(Stanford Research Institute International,简称SRI) 一直位于前列。SRI 成立于1946 年, 1970 年从斯坦福大学独立出来,现已发展成为人数逾 3,000 的跨国大型咨询机构。它的研究范畴非常广泛,包含自然科学和社会科学的众多领域。 斯坦福国际研究所下设教育政策中心(Center for Education Policy),运用大规模调查和数理 统计等方法对各个层面的教育政策进行评估。本刊特约记者通过文献法和访谈法等多种途 径,从其运行概况、研究脉络以及近期研究重点等几个方面进行评述,以期对我国教育智库 建设和发展有所启示。
英文摘要 In the《Global Go To Think Tanks Report》released by the University of Pennsylvania in recent years, in the top think-tank ranking on the fi eld of education policy, the Stanford Research Institute International (SRI) of US has been at the forefront. Founded in 1946, with its development, SRI gained independent from Stanford University in 1970 and has now developed into a large transnational consulting agency with more than 3000 members. It has a wide range of research area, including many fields in both natural science and social science. The Center for Education Policy, attached to Stanford Research Institute international, uses the methods of large scale surveys and mathematical statistics to evaluate all aspects of Education Policy. Our special correspondent, through many approaches such as literature method and interview method, makes a comment on several topics from its operation situation, the research context to the recent research focus, so as to benefi t the construction and development of an education think-tank in China.
