中文摘要 当前青少年成长中存在着价值虚空的问题。当代基础教育改革从关注人的素质发展,到个性发展、活力发展,生命主题越来越多地得到凸显,但价值观的深层孕育并没有成为根本性的主题。伴随教育改革的深化,价值培育与意义生发将越来越多地成为中国学校教育的根本主题。我们需要立足中华优秀传统文化,凸显文化价值陶冶,培育个体成人的意义。当代中国教育的返本开新,意在从中华民族历史与现实之中,从古今中西交汇之际,敞开中国人之个体成人的价值本源,培育有根有魂的中国人。
英文摘要 There is the problem of value void in the growth of young people. Contemporary basic education reform has shifted its focus from the development of people’s quality to their personality and vitality and the theme of life has been increasingly highlighted, but the deep gestation of values has not taken root in education. With the deepening of education reform, the nurturing of values and the germination of meaning will progressively become the fundamental theme in China’s school education. Our education needs to be anchored in the excellent traditional Chinese culture, highlighting the edification of cultural value, and promote the un-concealment and growth of the meaning of individual’s life. The return to the Origin—as an opening of the New—of contemporary Chinese education, aims at un-concealing the original source valued by mature Chinese people and at cultivating Chinese people with roots and soul, in confluence of history and reality of the Chinese nation, and in the communication among the ancients and the moderns, China and the West.
