中文摘要 在包括越南的發展國家中,對大學講師工作滿意度的研究並不多。本研究的目的是調查公立和私立大學的教師工作滿意度,並分析兩類院校的教師工作滿意度如何受其工作環境的影響。 該研究使用調查問卷調查了180名教職員工在這兩類機構中全職工作。幾乎每個教職員工的工作滿意度都很高;然而,私立大學教師的評分高於他們在公立大學的同事。工作環境對兩類大學的教師工作滿意度都有顯著的積極影響。該研究對大學管理的影響也進行了討論。
英文摘要 Little is known about faculty job satisfaction in higher education in developing countries such as Vietnam. The purpose of this study investigated faculty job satisfaction at the selected public and private universities and analyzed how faculty job satisfaction at these two different types of institutions was affected by their work environment. The study used a questionnaire to survey 180 faculty members who are working full-time at those institutions. Most faculty members were satisfied with their jobs; however, faculty members from public universities are less satisfied with their jobs when compared with their colleagues at private universities. Work environment had significant and positive effects on faculty job satisfaction at both types of universities. The study’s implications for university management were also discussed.
