20世纪90年代,在美国兴起的无借口学校以对学业的高期望和严苛的纪律为特征,对提高少数族裔学生的学业成绩及升学率做出了重要贡献。然而,随着21世纪技能和深度学习等国际教育改革的推动,无借口学校开始面临着种种争议与质疑。在此背景下,一些无借口学校开始转向以素养与深度学习为核心的教育,这为我国当下推动以核心素养与高阶能力为导向的教育改革提供了思路与经验。

英文摘要 |
In the 1990s, the rise of no excuses schools which are characterized by high expectations and tight discipline has made an important contribution to the improvement of academic achievement and rate of college enrollment of minority students in America. However, due to the developing of international education reforms, such as the 21st century skills and deep learning, no excuses schools encounter all sorts of controversies and queries. In this context, some no excuses schools begin to turn to the education transformation centered on literacy and deep learning, which provides ideas and experience for China to promote the education reforms based on core literacy and advanced ability.
