中文摘要 本研究探討嘉義縣就讀國小五年級以上、國中及高(中)職之新住民子女在不同學校層級、新住民家長族群身分及性別因素下,其在國語(文)、英文、數學、自然(生物、理化、地球科學)、社會(地理、歷史、公民)、體育和綜合活動(藝術美學、音樂、家政)等各科目之學習成就差異分析。本研究在447份可用樣本中,問卷信度為Cronbach α係數.848,並進行MANOVA、ANOVA、t分配獨立檢定等分析,研究結果如下:一、嘉義縣不同學校層級之新住民子女在數學、自然和體育科目學習成就,有統計上顯著差異。二、在嘉義縣新住民子女學習差異上,中國大陸(含港澳)和東南亞新住民子女在國語(文)、英文、數學、自然、和社會成績上,有統計上顯著差異。三、在性別上,男生和女生在國語(文)、英文和綜合活動有統計上顯著差異。本研究結果提供教育政策及後續相關研究之參考。
英文摘要 The study aims to analyze the differences of new immigrant children’s academic achievement concerning Mandarin Language, English Language, Mathematics, Nature, Science, Social Science, Physical Education, and Integrated Activities, based on the independent variables of grade, gender and their parent’s nationality. The target subjects were students from 5th grade of primary school to high school in Chai-Yi County and 447 qualified samples were collected. The Cronbach α of the survey was .848 and MANOVA, ANOVA, and independent t test were used for analyses. The findings of this study are as follows: 1. The grade levels of new immigrant children at different educational stages on the subjects of Mathematics, Science, and Physical Education are significantly different. 2. The grade levels of new immigrant children from different ethnic groups on the subjects of Mandarin language, English language, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science are significantly different. 3. The grade levels of new immigrant children with different gender on the subjects of Mandarin language, English language, and Integrated Activities are significantly different.
