中文摘要 高齡者的學習參與有助於提升其生活滿意度,已被許多研究加以證實。然而,過去研究並未深入探究高齡者的學習參與是如何地影響其生活滿意度。許多文獻指出,高齡者積極地參與社會活動,將有助其正向自我概念的發展,並進而彰顯其生命存在的意義與價值,但目前較少有研究以自我價值為中介變項,探究其與學習參與、生活滿意度之間的關係。因此,本研究依據文獻,提出自我價值為一影響高齡者的學習參與及生活滿意度之中介變項的模式,並採問卷調查法,以大臺北地區343位高齡者為對象,探究其學習參與、自我價值與生活滿意度的關係。研究結果證實,高齡者的學習參與可提升其自我價值,並進一步增進其生活滿意度。
英文摘要 Studies have shown that older adults’ learning participation can increase their life satisfaction; however, the relationship between them should be explored further. Literature indicated that older adults’ participation in social activities can contribute to develop a positive self-concept and help to find the meaning of life. Therefore, this study proposed that self-esteem is a mediator variable that affects the participation learning and life satisfaction of older adults. This study investigated 343 older adults in Taipei to explore the relationship between learning participation, self-esteem and life satisfaction. Specifically, this study provided an empirical result that older adults’ participating in learning activities can improve their life satisfaction through increasing their self-esteem.
