中文摘要 本文以美国和中国现行的小学五年级科学课程教材为研究对象,基于科学、技术、工程和数学(STEM)的教育结构框架对两国科学教材内容进行编码比较分析,数据结果反映:两国教材内容的重合度低;美国科学课程知识点数量多,难度大,覆盖面广,重视自主实验调研;中国科学课程知识点数量少,内容浅显,以课堂操作和探究为主,学科综合性弱,缺乏知识陈述与总结。
英文摘要 Based on the STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education structure framework, taking current science textbooks (grade fi ve) used in America and China as the research objects, this study conducts a comparative code analysis on the teaching contents. The result shows that: American science textbook attaches great importance to independent experiment researches with large knowledge quantity, diffi culty, wide coverage and curriculum integration, while Chinese science textbook sets classroom operation and explore as the main instructional part with little knowledge quantity and surface integration. Based on the STEM education ideas and code analysis results, this study provides some suggestions for primary school science textbook in China.
