中文摘要 在全球經濟相對強勁、新興經濟體中產階級不斷壯大、科技進步與新商業模式,以及可負擔的旅行費用和簽證便利化的推動下,近年國際遊客人數大幅增長。無論入境觀光及出境觀光,都可見我國與日本在觀光旅遊或產業互動,十分熱絡也極為重要。在國際化的趨勢下,外國語言(英語)不僅是大專校院必修的課程,並且已經成為現代國人職場上或是生活上之必需。在外語學習課程中,日語是除了必修的英語課程外,最受歡迎的外國語言。本研究以問卷調查方式,詢問觀光休閒系學生學習日語的情況,在324份有效問卷中,男生114人、女生210人。研究發現,大學生日語學習動機以工作價值、內在目標導向及控制信念較高。經統計的差異性分析,發現不同學制的學生或是男女性別上,在日語學習動機上並沒有差異;而在高中職階段沒有學習日語經驗的學生,具有較高的工作價值與期望成功的學習動機因素;通過外語畢業門檻的學生,對於日語學習的自我效能及期望成功的動機因素較高。研究建議,觀光休閒科系不應只開設傳統觀光日語、旅遊日語等課程,亦可開設針對通過日本觀光廳「通訳案内士」(翻譯導覽專門人員)證照之課程。課程中,也應以較輕鬆但實用的學習方式導入教學,介紹日本流行文化如動漫或流行音樂、日本文史及精緻藝術,藉由YOUTUBE播映給同學、佐以簡報摘要重點字句,誘發同學學習意願,才能提高學生的學習動機與學習成效。
英文摘要 Driven by a relatively strong global economy, a growing middle class in emerging economies, technological advances, new business models, affordable travel costs and visa facilitation, the number of international tourists has increased significantly in recent years. Regardless of inbound and outbound tourism, it is very importance that Taiwan and Japan are interacting in tourism or other industries. Under the trend of internationalization, foreign languages learning is not only a compulsory course for colleges and universities, but also have become a necessity in the workplace and leisure life. Among foreign language learning courses, Japanese is the most popular foreign language besides the required English courses. In this study, we employed a learning motivation questionnaire that had 324 valid respondents of 114 male and 210 female students. The research results revealed that college students' motivation for Japanese learning is higher in job value, intrinsic goal orientation, and control belief. It was found that there was no difference in the motivation of Japanese language learning among students of different educational systems and gender by statistical differences analysis. However, students who had no learning Japanese experience in high school had higher work value and motivational factors for successful learning. Students who had pass the threshold of foreign language graduation had higher self-efficacy and motivational factors for success in Japanese learning. By the results of this study, researchers hope to get more attention on students’ learning motivations to the educators of Japanese language. In Japanese courses, teacher should also introduce teaching in a more relaxed but practical way, introduce popular culture such as anime or pop music, Japanese literary history and fine arts, broadcast it to classmates with YOUTUBE, and summarize the key words of the briefing, which will stimulate students' willingness to learn in order to improve their learning motivation and learning effectiveness.
