英文摘要 Canadian Territory of Nunavut, officially established on April 1, 1999, is the youngest provincial level territory in Canada. The progress of multicultural education there have specific characteristics resulted from its particular ethnicity of Inuit and the Arctic geographical features. This paper tries, from both the macro and micro approaches, to examine the positive roles that the government and professional societies play, and the exact steps that the educational institutes and schools take to enhance education in the territory. In doing so, the paper intends to bring in fresh contextual resources to and broaden the horizon of the study of multicultural education in Canada.
