As a famous educationist in comparative education, besides the contribution to the development of science-oriented comparative education, H. J. Noah has a lot of thoughts related to the nature of comparative education, such as the theories of “fast-fish” and “loose-fish”, “the uses and abuses” of comparative education, and so on, which provide useful references to the development of comparative education in our country.
