Collaboration is a form of interaction or a process of participation and can be traced back to the conversation of two metaphors of learning, acquisition and participation, but studies on collaboration emphasize more on the cognitive characteristics than on its situative characteristics. In the paper, the authors identify a set of SNA indicators, such as network density, point centrality, betweennes centrality, network centralization, cohesive subgroups, coreperiphery model and perform a case research to study the social aspects of education master participating on one online course. In the end, the authors discuss the results and propose further research program.
