Michael Apple is a leading international figure of “Critical Pedagogy”. This article discusses Apple’s understanding and explanation of Conservative Restoration, and analyses the cultural and political background, intellectual origin, and defense of “Critical Pedagogy”. This article presents a unique approach to understanding Apple’s ideas, especially those contained in his work since the 1980s.
