This article reviews the most prestigious large-scale international education assessment projects──the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA), and discusses what the National Education Examinations Authority has learned from conducting PISA2006 China trial study. Based on the above, this paper describes author’s reflections and suggestions for improving china education assessment reform.
