本文旨在探討青少年自我中心(adolescent egocentrism)的理論，評述有關此項特質的研究發現，及應用此理論來剖析國內近年來所發生的反社會行為或犯罪案例。 文中首先闡釋自我中心的意義及介紹艾爾肯(D. Elkind)所提出的青少年自我中心特質──「想像觀眾」(imaginary audience)及「個人神話」(personal fable)兩種構念的特質，然後探討其測量工具及相關因素的研究，最後據以解釋青少年飊車、大家樂、自殺、鬥毆、及反社會行為的內在心理歷程，顯示自我中心的是國內某些青少年問題的癥結所在，因此如何使教育正常化而有助於青少年自我中心的化解，該是國內今後努力的方向。

| 英文摘要 |
This paper reviews the concept of adolescent egocentrism as developed by D. Elkind and the articles which reachers have focus the theorectical assumptions generated from the theory of adolescent egocentrism. Then application two aspects of adolescent egocentrism: the imaginary audience and the personal fable for understanding its relationship to commonly observed adolescent antisocial behaviors in Taiwan.
