Guided by the constructivism theory, the collaborative group learning would solve the problems of the lack of emotional exchanges and the cooperation between the learners in the distance education. The author makes the theoretical research on the collaborative group learning and carries it to the course of English in Daily Life, which has achieved a good result. At the meantime she also points out the weakness of the collaborative group learning.
