Dr. Leopoldo E. Acuna, Chairman of Medical Humanities Department, Medical School of National University of La Plata, Argentina, introduced their experience about teaching medical humanities at La Plata. In the past 20 years, the La Plata’s program has undergone a number of changes, and the current humanities curriculum consists of four electives: medical and literature, medical anthropology, history of medicine and medical kalology.
