The space of virtual learning community is a social space. Normally, there are three types of social space in virtual learning communities, namely individual space, group space and public space, which differs from each other in social interaction, social groups and social network, and whose functions complement each other. While in the group space for learners, a new students group, called “course group”, begins to replace the traditional class groups, and displays some new features in the aspects of interactive media, learning method, population structure, social network, group sense and group regulation.
