| 英文摘要 |
Karl Jaspers was a famous existentialism philosopher and educationist in Germany. What is education was one of his representative works on educational exposition. Karl Jaspers discussed the viewpoints of learning freely from four aspects：the nature of education, the idea of university, character of college students, and communication. The author considers that this viewpoint will have inspiration to the teaching reform now we are promoting.
