本文基于国家统计局“城调队”1991年、1995年、2000年和2004年中国城镇住户调查数据，采用计量回归方法，对我国城镇居民个人教育投资风险进行了实证研究。研究结果表明：第一，增加受教育的时间其实是减少了一个人获取其教育投资收益的风险；第二，近些年来教育对减少教育投资风险的能力正在逐年增加；第三，女性的教育投资风险高于男性；第四，东部地区的教育投资风险高于其它地区。

| 英文摘要 |
Based on Chinese Urban Household Survey data collected for the years of 1991, 1995, 2000 and 2004, the present study dedicates itself to investigate the risk of Chinese urban citizens’ individual investment in education. The empirical findings showed that （1）increasing time of receiving education reduces the risk of investment in education.（2）the impact of education on reducing the risk of investment in education has enhanced in recently years.（3）the risk investment in education for female is higher than that for male.（4）the risk investment in education in eastern region is higher than that in inner region.
