The vision of universities’ disciplinary development shapes its mode of delivery. World─class universities share a common vision that disciplinary development is a long, continuous and innovative process, and we should encompass tradition and innovation, harmony and outstanding, excellence and broadness, integrity and sensibility. Moreover, the excellent of world─class universities also comes from their unique institutional visions and diverse modes of disciplinary development. So what makes a world─class university？A far─sighted vision combined with an appropriate mode of delivery.
