本研究采用问卷法，以北京市4,850名中小学生为调查对象，考察了当前中小学生。心目中的教师形象，并将这一研究结果放在一个跨文化的研究背景中进行了比较。结果表明，当今学生最看重教师的职业道德，而20世纪80年代的学生则更关注教师的教学能力；与中国学生相比，日本学生同样把职业道德放在首要的位置，对教师的教学能力也相当看重，而美国学生把教师的人格特征放在了最重要的位置，最不关注教师的教学能力。

| 英文摘要 |
Using the method of questionnaires, this study investigated the images of teachers in the minds of 4,850 primary and middle school students in Beijing and gave a cross-cultural comparison. The results showed that at present, the students put more focus on teachers' professional ethics, whereas the students in the 1980's focused more on teachers' capacity of teaching. Compared to Chinese students, Japanese students gave a priority to teachers' professional ethics and teaching capacity; however, students in American put teachers' personality in the first place and teaching capacity at the last.
