Commonality is one of the characteristics of knowledge in education. Knowledge is not purely subjectively constructed by individuals. The current predominant constructivism in education and curriculum development overemphasizes the social construction of knowledge as its nature, overlooking the commonality of knowledge in education process. As a result, educational practice will become disorderly.
