大学体育文化是大学文化建设的重要组成部分。本研究以内容分析法为主，以大学体育新闻为主要研究对象，在对四所个案大学体育文化概貌和价值观进行定性与定量描述的基础上，从传播学的角度对中美两国大学体育文化进行了比较系统的研究。结果表明，中国大学体育文化概貌及其价值观与美国大学存在不少共同点，但存在更多的差异；美国的大学体育借助多管道、大规模、高质量的体育宣传，形成了比我国更具影响力的大学体育文化。据此，本研究就中国大学体育文化建设提出了若干有针对性的建议。

| 英文摘要 |
This paper describes and compares University Sports Culture between China and America based on the case studies of Harvard, Yale, Tsinghua and Peking University. General pictures and the values of Campus Culture and Organizational Culture are studied mainly through content analysis of sports news. Finally, this paper provides some practical advice about constructing University Sports Culture in China.
