This study discusses the University of California Undergraduate Admissions Comprehensive Review and analyses its main characteristics. The Review exhibits a careful consideration of the real needs of applicants, parents, and communities, hence it ensures a comprehensive evaluation of the applicant’s knowledge, skill, and personality. The entire admission process provides the University with opportunities to enroll those who have potential to complete undergraduate education successfully as well as creatively. The Review also promotes a multicultural environment and encourages schools to focus on character education and nurture creative thinking and exploratory spirit.
