中文摘要 文化对现代化、国际化至关重要,任何国家在国际化进程中都面临不同程度文化改造任务。中国文化中极待补充的是尊重个性、求真创新的价值观。高等教育课程国际承担着文化改造使命。作为发达国家通识教育的”隐涵课程”目标,发展批判性思维是实现课程国际化的重要手段。我国高校课程国际化,不仅要关注科学技术专业,还要重视通识教育的改造,尤其要将文化改造纳入其中。要完成既要继承优秀传统文化、又要吸收外国先进文化如此复杂的任务,引进批判性课程与教学方式以处理文化冲突问题将是有效的举措。
英文摘要 Culture plays an important role in the process of modernization and internationalization. All countries face with the task of cultural transformation in some extent during the process. Chinese culture has an urgent need for a new supply for more respect for individuality, truth─seeking and innovation. Curriculum internationalization in higher education embodies such culture transformation. Critical thinking is considered as a hidden core curriculum in developed countries and an important means to promote curriculum internationalization. For Chinese universities and colleges, curriculum internationalization involves not only science and technology education but also general education, with a special reference to cultural innovation. The article argues that curricular and pedagogical development for critical thinking is an effective means to inherit traditional culture, absorb advanced foreign culture, and manage cultural conflict.
