The globalization of consumerism creates the trends of consumerism in education reforms, and student consumerism is often used to describe the great changes in recent education innovations. In the end, the voice that costumers define the quality of education becomes more and more strong. The education innovators have to experience more and more conflicts, such as to be student-oriented or truth-oriented, to obey the rules of economy or the rules of education, to make curricula fit for students or students fit for curricula, and to give students “yes or no” knowledge or so called useful knowledge. Therefore, only if we keep distance from consumerism can education innovations have a promising future.
