| 英文摘要 |
This research focuses on the evolution of the British system of higher education accreditation for the purpose of understanding the system’s current status and the trend of its change. The British system is formed through the law-making process and implemented by independent public bodies. With the guidance of an educational production function approach, the author finds that the factors that have played the major roles in the formation of the British System are its cultural tradition, politics, and international environment.
