中文摘要 學校教育品質直接受到學校校長的影響,當學校校長在工作上遭遇到一些問題或困境時,例如:高離職率或工作量過重,都將影響到學校教育的品質。本文針對學校校長的工作負荷量與他們的生活品質之間的關係進行研究,研究結果發現,有54%的校長生活品質屬於「正向型生活品質」(Positive Quality of Life),有46%的校長生活品質屬於「緊張型生活品質」(Challenging Quality of Life)。本文研究結果顯示,校長工作負荷與其生活品質之間存有高度相關,根據此研究結果,可供台灣教育主管單位在檢討與改善校長工作內容及其工作性質所產生之問題時參考。
英文摘要 School principals influence the essential quality of education directly for the student. Serious problems or difficulties, such as high turnover rate and overwork, that are associated with dissatisfied principals impact the children’s educational opportunities. This study was conducted to determine what relationship, if any, existed between school principals’ workload and their quality of life. It found that 54% of school principals were identified as having a Positive Quality of Life (PQL) and 46% of school principals were indicated as having a Challenging Quality of Life (CQL). According to the findings of this research, the Ministry of Education in Taiwan would benefit primary and secondary education by providing additional recognition of the difficult job performed by school principals and encouraging them to hold a positive attitude while the Ministry of Education seeks to address this issue.
