This paper provides a snapshot of the 24─year experiences of Arabian Gulf University College of Medicine and Medical Sciences, reviews its original vision and how that has been realized and examines past lessons, particularly those involving the cooperation of the six different countries. It is hoped that some of its experiences maybe useful to promote the development of the medical education in China.
