中文摘要 母语是民族文化的根基和纽带,是一个民族的精神家园,是与世界经济、文化交流发展的媒介和先导。随着中国国际化的进入和发展,母语及其文化遇到有史以来第三次危机。母语危机是教育危机,民族文化危机,语言载体危机。母语问题是民族文化的性质和去向问题,是国家、民族的发展问题,是经济、社会和人三者和谐发展的问题。造成母语教育及其文化危机的原因绝非仅仅是英语的介入和对其膜拜式的学习,还有历史的原因,某些考试制度的原因,现行教育体制的原因,人们观念的原因,还有语文教育自身的原因。必须加强母语及文化建设,其一是要继承和稳固传统,营造良好的母语生态环境,正确对待各方面的问题和挑战,走正确的发展之路;其二是要相容并蓄,正确吸收和借鉴世界母语教育的经验。最重要的是端正观念和认识,确立母语的地位和价值。
英文摘要 Mother tongue is the base and tie of national culture, a sprit home of a nation, and the medium and guide of the development of world economy and cultural exchange. With the start and development of internationalization in China, mother tongue and its culture have been undergoing the third crisis. Mother-tongue crisis is the crisis of education, national culture and language vehicle. Mother tongue is an issue that concerns the nature and direction of national culture, the development of the country and nation, and the harmonious development of economy, society and people. The introduction and the devoted study of English is not the only cause for the crisis. History, some examine systems, current education system, people’s thoughts and Chinese education itself are also factors that lead to the crisis. It is necessary to exert good effort to develop mother-tongue education and its culture. To do this, firstly, we should inherit and stabilize tradition, develop a good environment for mother tongue, adopt a correct attitude towards all the problems and challenges and choose the right way of development; secondly, we should incorporate things of diverse culture, draw experiences from the mother-tongue education of other parts of the world properly and use them as reference. The most important thing is to rectify incorrect thoughts and establish the status and value of mother tongue.
