This paper probes into the theme of existentialism. Proceeding from the theme, it deduces the existentialist basic view on who the teacher is and what the teacher should do with a reference to existentialists’ expatiation on the issue of teacher to provide a philosophical perspective and a new thinking resource for the theory and practice of teacher education.
