语文教育作为基础教育的重要组成部分，对人生及国家、社会发展的基础性意义，既有恒定不变的诉求，也有因应时代发展不断更新的因素。人类进入[制度化的]终身教育时代之后，语文教育由传统的注重学生语文[双基]，转向对更为全面的语文素养提升的追求，学生语文学习方法、态度、习惯、情感与价值观及其整合不断得到关注，成为终身教育背景下语文教育基础性的内涵要素。

As the element of basic education, Chinese education plays an essential role in one's life, the country and the society, and its basic meaning has both permanent and neonatal grows as era moves on. Chinese elements which contain learning methods, attitude, habits, and sensibility is being stressed of so-called [double-base] after lifelong education begins.
